The Social Protection and Rehabilitation Center "AMAN", one of the Qatar Foundation centers for Social Work, concludes the awareness campaign for the (919) hotline, which is located on the ground floor in the Doha Festival City Mall, at the dedicated section for the Mall Initiatives Framework, Festival Cares.

The awareness campaign, which lasted for a week in the Doha Festival City Mall, is concerned with the target groups of the AMAN Center, including women and children and victims of family breakdown from violence.

This awareness campaign aims to spread awareness to enhance social protection and rehabilitation to reduce violence and family breakdown, by reporting any violence that may be experienced by any of the targeted groups of AMAN Center, including women and children and victims of family breakdown, and to provide the necessary protection by allocating highly professional cadres to monitor initial indicators for diagnosis and to monitor statistics accurately, in addition to recording the necessary data and responding to inquiries.

The awareness campaign of the hotline witnessed a great turnout since the first day. The audience came from various segments of society, including children, women and parents, and active participation was evidenced by their visit to the induction corner and their inquiries about the services provided by the AMAN Center, such as: the (919) hotline service and electronic applications for the protection of women and children like the "Help me" children application, and "Consult Me" application for women, in addition to public interaction with the AMAN Center initiative called "My Book is My Friend", which is a device for selling books for children. It also informs them of the dangers of playing electronic games.

In this context, Mr. Robert Hull, General Manager of Doha Festival City, said, "The family is the basic building block for constructing a cohesive and strong society. Therefore, in the Doha Festival City Mall, we are keen on the safety of the family, and we constantly support initiatives that focus on the Qatari community through the for the Mall's Festival Cares Initiatives Program."

We are also proud of this cooperation with the AMAN Center for assisting and contributing to community awareness, and to provide assistance to women, children and victims of family breakdown from violence.

Our common goal is to protect members of society from any violence they may be exposed to, and to strengthen family cohesion to create a safe environment."
